nondenominational holiday cards have been sent to those who gave me their addresses -- yay! they will be there sometime before the new year at this rate :)

i thought that this spam ad, featuring an animation on toast, was especially neat.

he already knows he's getting this, so it's not going to be a surprise, but it's just so darned cool that i had to show you -- this is a t-shirt i'm getting iainzard for christmas! (and don't worry... there will be OTHER surprises!)

(i'd get him the chain mail t-shirt but i don't know how you'd wash it -- except for maybe in the blood of your enemies :) -- can you imagine him at a concert in that thing? that would just make me laugh and laugh and ♥ him even more!)

so, i am getting over the flu, but now i'm coughing and keep waking up iainzard so this is "sympathy insomnia" designed to give him the opportunity to get at least a little sleep!

but the other day i learned that ounce for ounce, cacao is a more effective cough-suppressant than codeine. so i'm sitting here wondering how many chocolate bars that allows me to eat at 3:46 in the morning! i mean, it's a VERY persistent cough. and i can eat rather a lot of chocolate :)

i ♥ it when, midday or so, i snuggle a kitty on the head, and the kitty smells ever-so-faintly of iainzard's aftershave. he's such a good kittydaddy :)
